When organizations like the Dallas Society of Visual Communications produce monthly materials, it’s often to the dismay of vendors who are asked to contribute time and services, with designers demanding the hottest paper stock, the most complex techniques, and bleeds, bumps and bindings. I produced this (and the accompanying web site) to thank the vendors, and to create 32 pages of educational—not promotional—content.
